Steve Dillingham, Prinicipal of Strategro International, LLC, with headquarters in West Orange, NJ, was recently invited to participate in a roundtable discussion sponsored by the Urban Coast Institute at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. 

The background for the event was to tap into the growing national network of academic-industry-governmental partners who are building connections between oceans, human health, and marine biotechnology.  Strategro was invited to provide input on the potential for further developing New Jersey's marine biotech assets, based on Strategro's international work experience and network in the marine biotech, marine natural products, and marine ingredient sectors, and work experience and expertise within cluster development.  

The goal of the roundtable was to establish discussions about positioning New Jersey to play a more vital role in related research and technology development, as well as educating, training and workforce development, with the intention of supporting an active and robust ocean and human health enterprise and community working across sectors, institutions, and disciplines to protest and improve health.
