Strategro was launched in 2002 by a team of experienced entrepreneurs to help clients capitalize on market opportunities, and to develop and execute strategies that will provide sustainable growth and value creation.

Our goal is to provide exceptional strategic advice and execution based on superior industry knowledge,  research and analysis.

The cornerstone of our success is based on our proprietary market development methodology called Delta 3 (∆3), a proven market entry process which provides clear success milestones and measurable deliverables.


Our Senior Management

 

Steve Dillingham 

Steve Dillingham is Founder and Principal of Strategro International, LLC, and has solid experience of nearly 20 years assisting companies achieve growth in a broad array of business sectors.

Prior to founding Strategro International, Steve was Deputy Trade Commissioner for the Norwegian Trade Council in New York City, assisting Norwegian companies develop export programs and business development towards the US. Additional experience includes serving as a senior marketing executive at HHS Integrated Marketing Communications, with responsibility for marketing, brand strategy, PR and advertising for major international accounts, and brand management and new food product development experience from CPC International (Unilever).

Steve offers significant expertise and network within the marine biotechnology, seafood, aquaculture, life science and health/nutrition sectors. He has led successful market development initiatives for international companies and organizations, and stays active within the research communities engaged in discovery of new products and technologies.

Steve has an MBA in marketing and international business from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and holds a BS in biology - marine science concentration, from Pennsylvania State University. Current memberships include National Fisheries Institute (NFI), International Food Technologists (IFT) and the American Feed Industry Organization (AFIA).

Rune G. Nilssen 

Rune G. Nilssen is a Partner with Strategro International, and is heading up the company’s Canadian operation in the Toronto office. Prior to joining Strategro, Rune’s worked as Principal with Accelligent Management Group in San Francisco assisted European technology companies in their marketing and investment strategy in the U.S.

In addition, Rune has served as Director of International Business Development with IBA, a Silicon Valley based consulting firm providing sales and marketing services for foreign firms looking to expand in the U.S.Prior to this engagement, he was a Director of European Operations and Research at EquiCo, a California-based boutique investment bank specializing in international mergers, acquisitions and divestitures of middle-market enterprises. Rune has also worked for the Norwegian Trade Council in New York, focusing on the U.S. market entry of Norwegian enterprises, and has served as economic adviser to the Mission of Norway, managing all business development activities on behalf of the Norwegian governmental and industrial delegations to the United Nations.

Rune has extensive international business development experience in the areas of biotech, food technology, financial services and information technology. Rune has lived and worked in the Middle East and Belgium and holds a Master’s degree in International Marketing from the Norwegian School of Management, School of Marketing in Oslo (NMH)
